Senior Account Executive

Mountain View, CA

Bigstream is looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Sr. Account Executive with a proven track record of driving and closing enterprise deals, as well as a strong understanding of big data and cloud infrastructures for use cases such as ETL, Risk Management, Fraud Detection, Machine Learning, …etc.

As a Sr. Account Executive, you will be a well-networked sales professional with consultative sales skills and the ability to articulate a strong business case and ROI for Bigstream’s products. This position has the opportunity to move up into a leadership role.


  • Strategic and consultative selling to communicate the value proposition of Bigstream’s products
  • Drive and manage the sales process with companies looking to improve performance and/or reduce cost with Bigstream’s technology
  • Build consensus and develop relationships at multiple levels – executives, influencers and decision makers
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive business proposals to address customer and prospect priorities and critical needs
  • Ensure a successful and high-quality customer experience through effective account planning and executive engagements
  • Approximately 30% of the work time could be spent in traveling


  • Bachelor’s Degree from a top-university strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales
  • Experience in selling to Financial Services or retail industry strongly preferred
  • Strong track record and successful background in complex, executive-level sales processes, including a minimum of 3+ years of experience selling solutions for big data infrastructure
  • A reputation within the enterprise, big data space for being outstanding with sales demos, value selling, and competitive positioning
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and demonstration skills
  • Strong time management and decision-making skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced startup sales environment
